    Brad joined MFS in 2006 and previously served as a senior investment product analyst before assuming his current duties in 2011. He began his career in the financial services industry in 2004 at Putnam Investments.

    Derek Beane, CFA, is a director and investment product specialist in the Global Product group at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). As an investment product specialist, he works closely with the portfolio management teams and is responsible for communicating investment philosophy, process and the positioning of MFS investment strategies and for providing investment perspective to financial advisors and MFS' sales force and relationship managers.

    Before joining the firm in 2014, Derek spent seven years at John Hancock Investments, most recently as a portfolio specialist and director -- senior investment analyst. In this role he served as a fund expert, articulating fund philosophy, process and positioning to the John Hancock Investment Board of Directors as well as internal and external constituents. Before that, Derek served for five years as an investment research analyst and financial analyst at Fidelity Investments, working closely with Fidelity's defined contribution group.

    Derek earned an MBA from Boston College's Carroll School of Management and a bachelor's degree from Clemson University. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

    He joined the firm in 2002 as a global sovereign fixed income research analyst. Previously, he served for two years as assistant to the US executive director for the International Monetary Fund and for two years as an international economist in the Office of Central and Eastern Europe of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

    James Swanson, CFA, is an investment officer and chief investment strategist of MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). He is also a fixed income portfolio manager for the MFS Diversified Income Fund, the MFS Managed Wealth Fund and a specialist in multi-asset and asset allocation strategies.

    James offers his insights and perspective on the markets and the economy to MFS clients around the world through in-person meetings, his Strategist's Corner online column and a blog launched in 2011. He is a frequent guest commentator on the markets on CNBC, Fox Business and Bloomberg Television and is often quoted in leading national and financial publications, including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and Investor's Business Daily.     Jenine Garrelick, CIMA, is a senior managing director of internal sales for MFS Fund Distributors, Inc., a subsidiary of MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). In this role, she has management oversight of the firm's internal sales team, including the broker/dealer, financial institutions and advisors, and defined contribution investment channels. Jenine has more than 20 years of industry experience and joined MFS in January 2007.

    Before joining the firm, Jenine was a managing director at ProFunds, working with Prudential Securities. Previously, she served as a director at State Street Research, where she managed a key accounts group, ran a sales desk and managed the East Coast division of external wholesalers. Earlier in her career, Jenine worked as a wholesaler at American Skandia, where she had sales responsibilities for annuities, mutual funds and 401(k) plans. She began her career in financial services in 1995 as an internal wholesaler for Colonial Funds.

    Jenine earned her Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Rhode Island. She holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation. She is a registered principal and holds her series 7, 24 and 51 licenses.

    Madeline Forrester is a managing director of MFS International (U.K.) Ltd., serving as head of institutional business in the United Kingdom for MFS Management® (MFS®).     Michael Keenan is vice president and senior managing director -- National Accounts with MFS Fund Distributors, Inc., a subsidiary of MFS Investment Management® (MFS®).     Mike MacNaught is a senior managing director and head of US Platforms for MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). In his role, he has oversight of the firm's Advisory Resources Group (ARG) and Defined Contribution (DC) sales team. ARG is responsible for sales and for managing relationships with professional buyers within dealer home offices, insurance companies, banks and third-party investment platforms. The DC sales team works to establish relationships with retirement plan advisors and recording keeping platforms and to position MFS investment products with them.

    Mike joined MFS as a relationship manager in 1997 and spent his first 13 years with the firm working directly with insurance companies and subadvised relationships. He began managing a team of ARG relationship managers in 2010 and added DC responsibilities in 2018. He began his financial services career in 1986 at Fidelity Investments, where he worked for nine years, most recently as vice president -- insurance broker dealer market manager. In this role, he was responsible for growing the company's Fidelity Advisor Fund sales, establishing and maintaining home office relationships with key firms and contributing to product development.

    Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hobart College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Babson College.

    Peter A. Delaney, CFA, is director, Investment Solutions Group, MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). In this role, he serves as a content expert on all aspects of the DC market and develops thought leadership pieces focused on DC issues. He conducts research on DC plans and their multiple constituencies, including the behaviors and perceptions of DC plan participants. He also develops content focused on current trends and themes within the DC landscape, meets with plan sponsors, consultants and platforms to discuss topical issues facing DC plans and works closely with the product team to shape and represent MFS' DC capabilities.

    Pete rejoined MFS in 2009 as an associate director, Institutional DC Platforms. Before that, he served two years as director of Investing Consulting at the Hartford, working with defined contribution plan sponsors, consultants and advisors. His prior experience at MFS includes eight years as an investment specialist working with platform analysts and distribution teams, as well as 401k plan sponsors.

    Ryan Mullen, CIMA®, ARPC, is senior managing director and co-head of MFS International Ltd. (MIL) at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®).     For the previous 11 years, Ryan served as senior managing director and head of sales and national accounts for the Defined Contribution Investments and Wealth Management groups. He began with MFS in 1992 as a customer service representative and later joined MFS Fund Distributors, where he served in several internal sales roles. He became a part of the Financial Advisors Division of the firm's wholesaling team in 1996. He was named a senior divisional vice president within the Investment Specialists Group in 2004, serving MFS' subadvisory and insurance relationships.

    Ward Brown, CFA, Ph.D., is an investment officer and fixed-income portfolio manager at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). He is a member of the Emerging Markets Debt team, and his management duties include MFS' emerging market debt strategies and institutional accounts in addition to conducting macroeconomic research and individual credit analysis.

    Ward joined MFS in 2005 as a fixed-income research analyst and was named portfolio manager in 2008. Prior to joining MFS, he served as an economist for the International Monetary Fund for eight years. Ward spent four years as a research and teaching assistant for the Financial Markets Group at the London School of Economics and Political Science and later served as a lecturer at the school in the Economics Department.

    Ward earned his bachelor's degree from McGill University and holds master's and doctoral degrees in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
