MFS Charitable Foundation
We at MFS Investment Management® are proud of the work we do each day as a global asset manager to help millions of investors work toward their financial goals.
We are equally proud of the investments we make in the future of our world — through the charitable organizations that make our communities better places to work and live.
The MFS Charitable Giving Program supports nonprofit organizations in four focal areas: community service, health, education, and care and development of homeless children. The program encourages employee participation as volunteers and donors.
In the community service arena, we are proudly entering our tenth year as a National Sponsor of City Year, a pioneering urban youth organization that promotes the values of democracy through volunteerism. In the health care field, we are one of the largest corporate supporters of the Jimmy Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world-renowned cancer research and treatment center through our annual sponsorship of the Pan Massachusetts Challenge. In the field of education, we sponsor Jumpstart, which focuses on building language and literacy, social, and initiative skills for children from low-income backgrounds. And in the field of care and development of homeless children, we are the lead corporate sponsor of Horizons for Homeless Children, a non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to saving homeless children and their families.
In addition to the work of the MFS Charitable Giving Program, we feel that our culture of employee charitable involvement is exceptional. This unique culture is outlined in more detail here in these pages.
We hope you take the opportunity to look through this site and see how MFS and our employees invest in the future, outside of the financial services industry.
