    Christine Girvan

    Christine Girvan is a senior managing director and head of Canadian distribution for MFS Investment Management (MFS®). She is responsible for sales, relationship management and client service for MFS in Canada. She is based in Toronto. Christine joined MFS in 2010 as managing director, Canadian sales, before being named head of Canadian distribution in 2018. Before joining the firm, she spent nine years Fortis (formally ABN Amro), where she held the positions of chief executive officer, head of North American sales and vice president of global investments. She was a vice president of international investments for Guardian Capital, Inc. for five years, worked as an equity fund manager for one year at Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management in France and spent three years as a junior equity portfolio manager focused on Asian equities. She began her career in the financial services industry in 1990. Christine graduated with honors from the University of Lyon with a master's degree in investment management and financial planning. She holds the Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) designation from the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies.

    Douglas F. Bailey is senior managing director of financial advisor sales for the United States with MFS Fund Distributors, Inc., a subsidiary of MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). He leads a team of wholesalers and wealth management specialists who sell MFS products through broker/dealers, financial institutions, independent advisors and registered investment advisors. He also has general oversight of the firm's internal sales team. Doug currently serves on the MFS President's Council and the Global Distribution Management Committee.

    Doug joined MFS in 1985 as a dealer service representative. He became a field wholesaler in 1987 and served as divisional director for the Northeast division in 1999. He is also the winner of the company's first Heritage Award for excellence in wholesaling.

    Doug is a graduate of the University of New York at Oswego and a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).

    Jenine Garrelick, CIMA®, is a senior managing director and associate national sales manager for MFS Fund Distributors, Inc., a subsidiary of MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). In this role, she has management oversight of the firm's business development team and internal sales team, including the broker/dealer, financial institutions and defined contribution investment channels. Jenine has also been at the forefront of MFS' ongoing initiative to educate financial advisors about the unique and evolving financial needs of women. She has taken on a leadership role on the subject, participating in speaking engagements and sharing her perspective with the media.

    Jenine has more than 20 years of industry experience. She joined MFS in January 2007. Before joining the firm, she was a managing director at ProFunds, working with Prudential Securities. Previously, she served as a director at State Street Research, where she managed a key accounts group, ran a sales desk and managed the East Coast division of external wholesalers. Earlier in her career, she worked as a wholesaler at American Skandia, where she had sales responsibilities for annuities, mutual funds and 401(k) plans.

    Jenine earned her Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Rhode Island. She holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation. She is a registered principal and holds Series 7 and 24 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Agency (FINRA).

    Karen Gray is head of US Institutional Sales at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). She is responsible for new business development in the United States among Corporates, Public, Taft-Hartley, Insurance Companies, Endowments and Foundations and the institutional consultant community. She began in her current role in 2018. Karen joined MFS in 2007 and served as managing director of Institutional Sales, US through 2017. In that role, she was responsible for working with institutional asset owners and consultants in the northeast. Prior to joining MFS, she spent more than 13 years with various BNY Mellon subsidiaries, serving as vice president, business development officer for four years at Standish Mellon Asset Management; five years as vice president, senior key accounts manager and senior corporate accounts manager at Dreyfus Corporation. She also served as an associate with The Boston Company. She additionally served in various client-facing roles with both the Fidelity Investment Advisor Group and the BISYS Investment Advisor Group. She began her career in the financial services industry in 1992. Karen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College.

    Michael Keenan is president of MFS Fund Distributors, Inc., the registered broker/dealer subsidiary for MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). He also serves as a senior managing director, National Accounts and Global Client Group, where his responsibilities include overseeing client relationships with MFS Fund Distributors. Mike also serves on various MFS committees, including Global Distribution Management, Strategic Alliance, Diversity and MFD Management.

    Mike joined MFS in 2000, working with insurance company relationships and handling sales, marketing and sub‐advised efforts with these clients. He assumed responsibility for the National Accounts group in 2008 and the Global Client Group in 2018. Prior to joining the firm, he held a number of sales positions at both Putnam Investments, where he worked within the 401(k) sales organization, and Citizens Funds, where he managed all retail and institutional retirement efforts.

    Mike is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire.

    Ryan E. Mullen

    Ryan Mullen, CIMA®, ARPC, is senior managing director and co-head of MFS International Ltd. (MIL) at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). In his role, he is responsible for setting MIL's business development strategy and leading the sales teams in the Americas and Europe. Ryan assumed this position in 2018. He currently serves on the Global Distribution Management Committee.

    For the previous 11 years, Ryan served as senior managing director and head of sales and national accounts for the Defined Contribution Investments and Wealth Management groups. His teams were responsible for MFS' distribution efforts in four key channels: defined contribution investments, managed accounts, private banks and registered investment advisors. He began with MFS in 1992 as a customer service representative and later joined MFS Fund Distributors, where he served in several internal sales roles. He became a part of the Financial Advisors Division of the firm's wholesaling team in 1996. He was named a senior divisional vice president within the Investment Specialists Group in 2004, serving MFS' subadvisory and insurance relationships.

    Ryan is a graduate of Hobart College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in economics. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) and Accredited Retirement Plan Consultant (ARPC) designations and the Series 7 license from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

    Sean M. Kenney, CFA, is co-head of US Retail and head of Defined Contribution at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). Sean co-leads the US retail sales effort, including general oversight of a team made up of internal and external retail sales and defined contributions specialists who sell MFS products through broker/dealers, financial institutions, independent advisors and retirement specialist advisors. He also has general oversight over MFS' efforts in the defined contribution market. Sean currently serves on the Global Distribution Management Committee. Sean joined MFS in 2004, first working in the Retirement Services Division. He became a field wholesaler in 2006, an institutional sales director in 2008 and head of defined contribution in 2018. He was named co-head of US retail in 2022. Sean graduated magna cum laude from Assumption College with a major in economics. He earned an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is actively involved in numerous industry groups including a steering committee member for the Active Managers Council (AMC).
