Leveraging expertise from the MFS Market Insights team to provide timely perspectives on economic and market dynamics that are top-of-mind for clients.
In 1924, MFS launched the first open-ended mutual fund in the US, and in 1970 we launched our first balanced fund. Today, we offer three ways to invest in asset allocation strategies: strategic allocation, tactical allocation and target date.
MFS use a three-step process to build multi-asset funds. First, we allocate assets across major asset classes to help optimize risk-adjusted returns. Second, we diversify within each asset class to take advantage of different investment styles and market sectors. And finally, we rebalance our multi-asset strategies periodically to ensure desired allocations and risk tolerance objectives are met.
